Planning piano moving in Dover
For a Dover pickup, the approach to the property belongs in the quote request. A room-level description is incomplete if the loading location is a long carry away from the entrance.
What to check at your Dover property
Photograph the drive, turning area, surface, and any low branches or overhead obstruction. Describe seasonal ground conditions without assuming a truck can leave a paved surface.
Prepare this piano moving request
- Identify upright, baby grand, grand, or another instrument type and its condition.
- Show every stair, landing, turn, threshold, and outside path.
- Describe final placement and any environmental or building restrictions.
Agree the scope before moving day
The team must confirm whether the instrument and route are suitable. Tuning, restoration, hoisting, and specialist dismantling are not automatically included.
If the delivery is to a smaller home, identify which large pieces have already been measured at the new address. Confirm the route to the final room, not just whether the furniture fits inside the front door.
A local guide is not an automatic booking. Call with your item list and route details; confirm suitability, preparation, dates, and the written scope with the team.
